The Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund is pleased to announce the recipients of the Thirty Second Annual Francis J. P. McHale Scholarship and the Annual Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund Scholarship Awards.
The recipients are Colin Sherland (Greater New York Floor Coverers Scholarship) – Nickel John Florentino (Greater New York Floor Coverers Scholarship and Nickel John (Francis J.P. McHale Scholarship). This year's winners are, as in the past, deserving of this well earned success.
The recipients of the First through Twenty-eighth Year Scholarships have completed their courses of study with the help of the Francis J. P. McHale Scholarship and the Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund Scholarship programs. The Industry Promotional Fund currently has sixteen participants in the scholarship program.
The 2016 Co-Honoree of the Francis JP McHale Scholarship Award is Michael Halebian, Jr. who is being honored for his lifetime of devotion and service to the floor coverers industry. The Co-Honorees' family and co-workers will be in attendance to celebrate his achievements.
The luncheon to award the scholarships to this year's awardees will be held at The Water Club on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
